So just like that we go from stormy weather all last week to sunny, ocean breeze, and temps in the 60′s. The ocean is relatively flat and actually looks pretty clean (considering the amount of run-off from the rain last week that’s actually pretty impressive). Yeah, California ‘winter’ is in full swing. I honestly don’t know if I’d be able to move somewhere that had actual full seasons, I might have an breakdown or something. Just so spoiled with near perfect weather 85% of the year.

On totally non-weather related news I finally got around to Rooting my Droid. Mainly so I can overclock it; however, there are a ton of other possibilities now. It’s not going to be one of those take it to it’s knees OC, just a slight bump to increase overall performance (which is not really that slow anyway). Perhaps it’s just the side of me that likes to tinker with this stuff, but I really felt compelled to do it. Even if things go bad it’s pretty easy to un-root and get it back to defaults. Anyway, there’s a ton of things I have to go through before I can really take full advantage of root privileges. I’ll get it all squared away soon enough.

Also, I’ll probably be changing the permalink structure of the blog soon. Might not be for a few weeks, but just thought I’d give a heads up.
