So last night I went ahead and flashed my Droid to the 800MHz OC by Tas (Alldroid.org). With SetCPU (also by another person on Alldroid, but I went ahead and bought it from the Marketplace), I’m now running a speedy 800MHz. After a week or so I might bump up to the 900MHz, but until I’m sure the 1GHz and above are stable I won’t even try them (I’m not that bleeding edge).

All the software came from Alldroid (boot image, SetCPU) and Sholes.info (recovery image); though the documentation was basically gathered from quite a few different sites.
